Web Design & UX
Author: Ria Loughlin
For many small businesses, launching a website might seem like a huge milestone to overcome. You have probably weighed up the pros and cons - cost and 'know how' alone can sometimes be enough to discourage you from creating a website for your business. No matter what you sell, if it's a product or service, your website should be the hub of all your digital marketing channels. All digital activities should direct your customers to your website. You have invested so much time and effort into your business, your website should reflect that.
It goes without saying, a good website has been proven to build trust amongst your customers. In doing so, you will generate more revenue and build longer lasting relationships with your customers. You should think of a website as the store front for your business, this is especially true during Covid times.
What makes good website design:
• Aesthetics – brand identity, UX & design
• Navigation – easy to use
• SEO & content – easy to find & has relevant information
• Functionality – works well
• Responsive – works on mobile
• Accessibility & usability – assessable to as many people as possible & effective
• Trust – trust content
At the very heart of a good website design, is UX design. User experience (UX) design is the process design teams use to create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. This involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.*

This blogpost is a great endorsement for your website design and build capabilities. I would be really interested in seeing some case studies about some of these websites and what success measurements were implemented. I agree that a website is the hub of all your digital marketing activities for your brand and perhaps the most valuable of all owned media. Great blog by the way.
